a sorely needed laugh this morning...

This was the back of the truck in front of me this morning...
Heh, heh... Putzmeister...

Yeah, I laughed out loud...

And this was the rest of the scenery I enjoyed this morning: The snowy season has officially arrived, and I'm curious about one thing - why do drivers lose their minds in the first snowfall? Seriously - I saw at least 5 cars in the ditch this morning, and my drive in is not that long. People! think about it! Snow = slippery. Just take a little care...

Putzmeister...sounds like a good name for any annoying guy. If I were the receptionist for that company, I'd have an awfully hard time answering the phones.

Snow. Thankfully the stuff we got in October has melted off. (LONG AGO!) It should be coming any time now. It's cold enough now.

Brr! It doesn't snow in LA, but the same phenomenon happens with the first rains. So much oil builds up on the roads that the first rain floats it into a perfect medium for skids.

Love the Putzmeister. Wonder whether it was he or she who named the boat.

Not only do they lose their minds in the snow, they have summer (bald) tires on, and they couldn't get traction anyway.
It does look pretty out now, with the sunshine.....

I was soooo lgad I didn't have to go anywhere today. We only got a dusting, but still, people were all over the place. According to the news anyway. I didn't see it in person.

Ooh, pretty. I wanted to see snow while we were in Vermont. It was balmy, and the temp dropped by 30F hours after we left. Snow, just not for us. Phoo.

(You can tell I don't have to shovel the stuff anymore. Not in California.)

And Putzmeister is just *funny*!
