it's the start of my birthday month!

Normally, I don't care much about my birthday - it's just another day as far as I'm concerned. I don't go for a lot of pomp and ceremony, and really kind of hate being the centre of attention. But since I turn 50 this month, I've been told by friends to get over myself and just enjoy.
So, fine. I will.
And just to ensure that everyone enjoys, I plan on random giveaways this month. Every now and then, I will be giving knitterly stuff away. Possibly yarns, possibly finished goods, Possibly even non-knitterly things. (sewn bags? maybe a custom pair of pajama pants? (I'm thinking of that one for my actual birthday day...))
You'll just have to keep checking to see when things happen...

A whole month to celebrate? That's awesome, we usually do a week.

Happy Birthday! Great idea to celebrate the whole month. I turned 50 earlier this year and celebrated for at least a couple of weeks. I wish I'd made a whole month out of it though. That's a much better idea! Have lots of fun! :-)

I think a birthday month is a great idea! Fifty is a good reason for such an extravaganza!

When my uncle turned 50 he went for a physical. He said he had lasted for the first half century and he wanted to find out if he would last the second half:)

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
