So I'm at a loss as to what to do about the blog. I don't want to pay for storage - if it was reasonable, I probably would, but because of when I started this, it will cost me a minimum of $4.99 PER MONTH. They don't have the $10/year option available for me. $60 per year is not a lot of money, but it's the principle. I just don't want to do it. (that's enough to pay for a couple of skeins of good sock wool!)
But, I do want to continue blogging, and adding pictures to the posts. (it would be pretty boring without them.) So, what I'm thinking is to start a whole new blog - Curlerchik 2.0 so to speak. I'd have a note on this one directing people to the new one, and a note on the new one, directing people back here if they want to check the archives.
What do you think? Would you move to the new place with me?

That's so weird that it's wanting you to pay. I hope it doesn't start asking us all to do that. I'm very happy and grateful to have been able to it for free all this time but I'm not sure how much I'd be willing to pay either. Your solution of a second blog sounds like a good idea to me.
I'd follow, no prob! Is there any way to put your photos on Flickr and do it that way? I know nothing about how all this works, but I use Flickr, and have seen that some blogs do.
I'll move with you to a new blog if you change!
Long time reader, first time commenter. I will follow you to the new blog space!
me, too!
yes, I will follow you - I may not comment often, but you are quite an inspiration for me and my occasional missing mojo !!
Another lurker here who would follow you if you moved. :)
I'd follow you! I would suggest though trying to add "labels" to your old posts to make it easier for people to search the archives. Or a search function. Why wouldn't we follow you along to a new site? :)
I'm a sheep, I'll follow. =^.^=
I'd follow you to another blog, no problem!
I will follow. The thing is - it will probably happen to all of us that use blogger so we will all be having 2.0 versions sooner or later.
