I had written a whole post about the drama and mayhem that seems to define our Christmas. I trashed it because, really, it's not about drama and mayhem. It's about family and friends. And that's how we'll be spending it. Starting at noon today (Christmas Eve) right through to Christmas night, we will be hither and yon, spending what we hope is quality time with the people we love. I will be with my husband and son, with my mom, with my brother and his family, with the husband's family, and with dear friends.
That's really all that matters.
To all of you out there, I wish you the best. May the worst day of your future be like the best days of your past.
(I'll recount the mayhem and drama next week. I shouldn't dwell on it, but once I can laugh about it, I'll share the best parts with you. they're not to be missed...)
