I knit one mitten with one style of top decrease, and thought I'd try a different style for the other mitten. I wasn't thrilled with style one, which is why I tried a different style.
There's the swirled version, and there's the rounded version.
Which one would you keep? And a better question, which one do you think I kept? By the time you're reading this, one has been ripped out and reknit to match the other.

I like the rounded one for mittens. What did you choose? Joan
I'd keep the pointed one.
I'd vote for the rounded, but I think you went with the pointy version.
foe the mittens I'd go with the more rounded one.
I like the rounded one.
On plain mittens I'd go round but I prefer the swirl. (I use it a lot on socks!) I bet you went with the swirl.
I like the swirl for plain mittens but if you were adding a design, the rounded one would be best. I am also guessing you went with the swirl.
I'd go for the round. Bet you kept the other though.
Just checked what I thought was my square hand and noticed that even though it is short and wide (good working hand), the middle finger still sticks up above the rest so...I'd say you went with the pointy, swirled version...and all those Latvian mittens can't be wrong (even though when lying flat, I prefer the look of the rounded version)!
