If it's cold enough for a hood, you are probably wearing more than a vest.Brendaknitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05810199856912743651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23822884.post-71503364088062429972011-05-17T11:10:47.383-04:002011-05-17T11:10:47.383-04:00That's really cute! That's really cute!Acorn to Oakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14334558675705027610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23822884.post-850175801936672492011-05-17T08:55:17.340-04:002011-05-17T08:55:17.340-04:00I always think, if I'm cold enough for a vest,...I always think, if I'm cold enough for a vest, I probably want my arms covered too, LOL.
The colour doesn't do much for me... I think cause it's a fairly plain pattern, it needs a bit of variation in the yarn (MY opinion only!). What if you over dye it a deep chocolate?TracyKMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07498896222222982320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23822884.post-70715722836243017562011-05-17T08:36:17.444-04:002011-05-17T08:36:17.444-04:00Can you add sleeves? Can you add sleeves?Saren Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947975330333922217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23822884.post-12587176780929772702011-05-17T08:29:29.721-04:002011-05-17T08:29:29.721-04:00Oh I love that detail on the hood! I've never made a hood myself, 'funny since I always admire them on other people's projects!

I'm with you on the vests but then I also thought 3/4 sleeves were stupid until I started wearing them. I always admire your wllingness to give knits away - I always struggle with concern their new "home" won't care for them properly.Sel and Poivrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05675373771037014713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23822884.post-4461372240252330562011-05-17T07:54:59.632-04:002011-05-17T07:54:59.632-04:00Interesting pattern stitch. I learned that this winter.Needleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14322437575472650069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23822884.post-43144325568496348852011-05-17T06:36:25.375-04:002011-05-17T06:36:25.375-04:00It looks great, but I wonder whether it needs slee...It looks great, but I wonder whether it needs sleeves for you to enjoy it more often. Something in fairisle where you could use a beige that's not an exact match to pull it together, and use the same edging for cuffs. I also find that vests don't really cut it in our climate. It's either too warm for anything, or too cold to have a sleeveless item. Maybe with a denim jacket and the hoodie overlaps the collar?
Marlyce in WindsorAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
